Godtland Software Sliding Tiles Puzzle - Screen Shots

The Sliding Tiles Puzzle program is a tool created to make it easy for you to design your own sliding tiles puzzles that you can share on the web or use on your own computer.

Setup

The puzzle setup allows you to add additional puzzles, rename puzzles, delete puzzles, change the order of the puzzles, set the text information that is to be associated with each photo, and clean up any additional files that may have been created but are no longer needed.

New Puzzle

When you create a new puzzle, you must set the file name and puzzle name to be used for the new puzzle. You may also set a different background color if your photo is not perfectly square, rotate the photo, and crop it to zoom in on the part of the photo you want for your puzzle.

Putting your puzzle on the Web

When you save your changes to the puzzle setup, it will create all the javascript needed for running the puzzle. To put your puzzle on a web page, you simply need to copy the files to your website and insert the javascript tags into the HTML code of your web page.

Using the Puzzle

When your puzzle is on your web site, users may try to solve your puzzle, see a hint (what the final photo is supposed to look like), scramble the puzzle again, or switch between puzzles in your puzzle set.

When the Puzzle is Solved

When users correctly solve the puzzle, they will see the final photo and be presented with the photo information you had entered during the setup. This provides a double satisfaction to the users of your puzzle: first is the satisfaction of solving the puzzle and seeing the completed photo, and second, it is the only way to see what you have written up about the photo.
