Godtland Software Word Search Puzzle - File WordSearch.ini Could Not Be Opened

Problem: When I try to enter my registration name and key, I get an error message that the file WordSearch.ini could not be opened.

This problem has been fixed in version 1.2.3. If you are using an earlier version of Word Search Puzzle, please download and install the Free Update to version 1.2.3.

Prior work around: This problem is most often caused by adminnistrative rights not granted to the Word Search Puzzle data files for the current user. The file, WordSearch.ini is a Word Search Puzzle file which needs to reside in the same directory where you installed the Word Search Puzzle program. For example, if you used all the defaults when you installed the Word Search Puzzle, it was installed in c:\Program Files\Godtland Software\Word Search Puzzle. However, if you are using Windows Vista, Vista automatically puts administrative rights on all files in the Program Files directory. To get around this problem, you either need to grant administrative rights for your user to the Godtland Software directory in the Program Files directory, or you need to uninstall the Word Search Puzzle then reinstall it in a different directory where your user will be allowed to create and modify files.

To uninstall the Word Search Puzzle, go through Start / Programs / Godtland Software / Word Search Puzzle / Uninstall.
